Born in Zaragoza (1986), she has lived in Barcelona for 10 years, where she moved after finishing her sculpture studies in her home city, to study Fine Art. In 2015, she moved to Bilbao to study a Masters in Ceramics at the Universidad del País Vasco (Basque Country University), thereby opening up new lines of investigation in her artistic repertoire.
Her passion for the industrial, recovered, reproduced or doctored objects helps her to create speculations on reality, in which the material plays a defining role, via combinations of elements that are forever juxtaposing within the same system. Having delved into the world of ceramics, the playful side of her works has been exacerbated, with her opting to experiment with meetings, chance, and improvisation, thereby searching for new ways to understand the relations between the work, the spectator’s body and the space in which they find themselves.
She has taken part in collectives in Barcelona, Valencia, Palafrugell, Palma de Mallorca, Montpellier and in the latest edition of the Casablanca Biennial, having carried out an artist’s residency at the Essaouira Contemporary Art Centre (Morocco). She has carried out her own standalone exhibitions in Zaragoza, as well as in various cultural centres in Barcelona. She is currently a resident artist at La Escocesa, an artistic production centre run by the Barcelona City Council.
