Andrea has worked in the audiovisual and cinematographic arts sector since 2002. A lover of documentaries, art and sculpture, since childhood she has experimented with different techniques and materials. In the year 2014 she began the artistic project Obrador Calyptus and created an artisan laboratory experimenting with natural materials, textile fibres and vegetable dyes. She explores techniques such as Nuno Felt (a combination of materials such as natural silks, gauzes and fibres such as linen) and traditional felt applied to contemporary design products. All the Obrador Calyptus production work is totally artisan, from the selection of materials, through to the tint process and the final drying.
