David Acevedo (DAQ) is an illustrator and art director from Barcelona who studied at the Massana School in Barcelona and the ENSAD school of graphic design in Paris. After working for various advertising agencies and design studios, he has recently decided to go it alone. His clients include brands like Adobe, Penguin Books, Random House Mondadori and Telefonica. He combines commercial work for the advertising, publishing and audiovisual sectors by producing handmade items and DTP work. It is in this environment that he can let loose his most genuine style, marked by a love of geometry, volumetric shapes and contrasting colours. He has received both the LAUS award and the C de C (Creative Club) award.
