Le Coq Sportif

le coq sportif is a French brand founded in 1882 that produces clothing and sports shoes. In his knitwear workshop sports enthusiast Emile Camuset began to make knitted shirts for his cycling friends, footballers and rugby players.

In doing so, he unknowingly established the foundations of a brand that would become legendary, as his designs were worn by sporting heroes. 130 years later, le coq sportif is known for its expertise in clothing, footwear and sports accessories.

The name of the company is inspired by the Gallo Gallus, the national symbol of France.
