Le Creuset

Cast-iron specialist company Le Creuset was born in 1924 when two Belgian industrialists, Armand Desaegher and Octave Aubecq, met at the Brussels Fair. A year later they established a foundry in Aisne, France and started producing reassuringly heavy, enamelled cookware in a riot of rustic colours. Today, the durability of this iconic brand’s products means they are handed down from generation to generation, becoming part of a family’s domestic heritage.
