On Thursday 30 July 2015, La Roca Village opened its new Tourist Information Office, with a new virtual concept to promote the region. The creation of this space was the result of an agreement between La Roca Village, the Catalonia Tourism Agency (Agència Catalana de Turisme) and the Barcelona Provincial Council (Diputació de Barcelona). The Minister for Industry and Employment for the Catalonian Regional Government (Generalitat de Catalunya), Felip Puig, along with the Barcelona Provincial Council MP, Ramon Riera; the mayor of La Roca del Vallès, Albert Gil; and Elena Foguet, Business Director of Value Retail, opened the new office.
HOSPITALITY THAT STANDS OUT FROM THE REST
The Tourist Information Office offers visitors all of the services at La Roca Village, which are aimed at providing a unique shopping experience for anyone and everyone. Guests can enjoy services such as Hands-free Shopping, which collects their purchases as they shop; exclusive transport service via the Shopping Express® coach tour, with routes from Barcelona and the Costa Brava; free Wi-Fi; multifaith prayer room; Personal Shopper service; VIP parking; multilingual staff; a family area; and a wide range of restaurants and cafés to suit all tastes (Catalan and Spanish, Asian, Italian, American and continental cuisine).
La Roca Village has become the first private space to have this type of information point. The office features self-service point-of-information monitors, that allow guests to check details on Catalunya.com (Catalonia Tourism Agency) and “Barcelona és molt més” (Barcelona is much more) (Barcelona Provincial Council). It also provides information on products offered in the region, such as spa tourism, Montseny or modernist architecture in the del Vallès area. Visitors can also find information on hotels and tourist attractions in the region – for example, the Catalunya Motorsport Race Track (Circuit de Catalunya).
